Description
The ABB IMFBS01 Analog Input Module provides fifteen analog inputs to the Multi-Function Controller or Processor for process field equipment and Bailey Smart Transmitters. It performs analog to digital (A/D) conversions on each input channel and can communicate to the Smart Transmitters for changing operating parameters and calibrating transmitter outputs. Field Bus slave interfaces 15 analog and digital signals from field devices to the MFP or MFC. The FBS01 can also interface Bailey Controls FSK smart transmitters, baseband smart transmitters, conventional transmitters and standard analog inputs (4 to 20 mA, 0 to 1 VDC, 1 to 5 VDC, 0 to 5 VDC, 0 to 10 VDC and -10 to 10 VDC). The FBS01 has 3 modes of operation (FSK field bus mode, FSK analog point-to-point mode and baseband analog point-to-point mode.)
