Description
The ABB NICS01 termination module provides I/O connections for the IMQRS02 and IMCIS02 modules, the IMCOM03 and IMCOM04 Controller Modules and the IMQRC01 Quick Response Controller. Also provided are connections for control stations, digital indicator stations, and serial link connections to multi-function processor/multi-function controller modules through their respective termination modules. An NIDS01 can be connected to the NICS01 module with a ribbon cable. This allows the daisy-chaining of additional stations and enables the analog output bypass capability of the first control station in a daisy chain. It can accommodate on an individual basis (via eight position dipswitches) different types of analog inputs: system or externally powered 4-20 mA current loops and single-ended or differential voltages.
