Description
The ABB IMRI02 Remote I/O Module allows the Multi-Function Controller to communicate with remote slaves (i.e. NCIS02/IMCIS02) up to 10,000 ft. (3000 m) from the Multi-Function Controller at a rate of 1 Megabit/sec. The function of the RIO depends upon its location. The ABB IMRIO02 located by the Multi-Function Controller is the master processor, all other Remote I/O Modules are slave processors. The slaves receive information from the master Remote I/O Module and transmit data back upon request. Remote I/O Modules will operate redundantly if a second set of hardware is used.
